HYPNOTHERAPY DISCLAIMER

You understand that the Hypnotherapy services you receive from your Hypnotherapist are not offered as a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any mental health or medical conditions. You also understand that your Hypnotherapist is not acting as a mental health counsellor or a medical professional.

For legal purposes, you understand that Hypnotherapy is currently an unregulated industry and that your Hypnotherapist is not “licensed“ by any UK body even though the sessions may take place in the UK. Your Hypnotherapist is fully trained and accredited to Hypnosis Trainer Level by the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

You understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your well-being during your hypnotherapy sessions, and subsequently, including your choices and decisions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking and attending a Hypnosis treatment session in person or online, all clients are acknowledging and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and our privacy policy.

Prior to attending a session, the client should be aware of the type of therapy they will be receiving, including possible effects, and consent in full to this.

They should understand that the treatment may be ended at any time by the Hypnotherapist in order to keep the client safe at all times.

The clients should understand that the success of the treatment depends on the client’s ability to relax and their desire to create change.

Clients must understand that it may be necessary to access painful memories and emotions in any session with the intention of desensitising and reprogramming them. Some short terms discomfort may be possible.

Clients have also read and must accept the privacy notice within this document.

We cannot guarantee results. People react differently to hypnosis and other therapeutic treatments so results may vary from person to person.

While hypnosis and hypnotherapy are safe and natural by nature, if a client has any extreme condition including psychosis, schizophrenia or epilepsy, the client must get an opinion from their psychiatrist or doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Any recordings or downloads from Accelerate Performance or your therapist must never be used while operating heavy machinery, driving, or performing tasks that require concentration.

Clients must take part in all sessions free from the influence of either alcohol or drugs and will provide a list of any prescription medicines they are currently taking.

CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS

If a cancellation or postponement is within 24 hours or a session is missed with no notice, a 1-hour session will be charged.

Please note where an in-person session is not practical, eg. a client has a cold or is quarantining/social distancing, an online session via Zoom may be substituted in its place.

PAYMENT TERMS

The session fee should be paid within 24 hours of the session. Failure to do so may be referred to a debt collection agency.
