Ralph Varcoe
FOUNDER & Managing partner
At the age of 17, Ralph took part in NLP research being conducted into memory formation and recall. From that day on, he was fascinated by how the mind works. Roll forward to today, and he is a certified Trainer of Master NLP and Master NLP Coaching (ABNLP).
For the past 20+ years, Ralph has blended working as a senior executive at a number of large technology firms with his love of NLP and Executive and Leadership coaching.
His training courses are a great deal of fun, with the right mixture of theory, practical exercises and communication styles, and real-world business and life coaching experience applied to the theory.
Ralph has coached many people, enabling them to find positive change in their lives and become better versions of themselves. He has acted as a Business Advisor for dozens of companies and focuses on delivering significant acceleration to business plans.
He has trained hundreds of people and gives a great deal of time to ensuring that attendees really grasp the fundamentals before coaching them to master the techniques needed to excel at being a fantastic NLP Practitioner and Coach.
Ralph is also the author of 'Accelerate Personal Performance'.

Keith Downie is a Partner of Accelerate Performance. With over three decades of experience, he is an experienced executive leader with a strong track record of working with senior stakeholders to deliver clarity, alignment, and sustainable growth. With extensive experience across the IT & Telecommunications industry, where he has helped build and grow global organisations delivering enterprise networking technologies through business transformation, leadership development, and complex sales environments, Keith brings a practical, people-centred approach to helping organisations navigate change and improve performance.
Throughout his career, Keith has led and supported large, multi-layered sales organisations, designing and implementing new sales programmes and go-to-market strategies across EMEA that drive measurable commercial results. He is highly experienced in engaging clients at every level of an organisation - from board and executive leadership through to frontline teams - ensuring strategy is clearly communicated, understood, and effectively executed.
A key strength lies in translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable transformation strategies. By combining strategic insight with strong communication and leadership capability, Keith helps organisations align people, processes, and priorities to deliver growth, improve execution, and embed lasting change.
During his career Keith has worked for several large, global, technology companies including Cap Gemini, BT plc, T-Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, HP Consulting, NCR and NCR Atleos.
